I don't get the Gazette on a regular basis and so did not know of Fred's death. I'm sorry I missed the memorial service for a very special man and friend. I have known him for many years - first through the bakery at Shopping Center, then at Two Paws Ford where he bought his Explorer from me and then came in for service.
No matter how difficult his battle with cancer was he always had a positive outlook. He made all of us feel so fortunate to know him. He was without a doubt the kind of friend we all would like to be.
As we Walk our Cancer Relay on June 26th and 27th here in Paw Paw we will remember Fred with a Luminary. In our hearts he will be with us!
