Passed away quietly at home in Paw Paw on Monday, April 12, 2004. Sharon is survived by her children, Linda and Terry VanderMolen of Holland, Bill and Cherry Larson of Alto, Shelly and Rick Colley of Port St. Lucie, FL and grandchildren, Shannon and Brian March of Holland, David VanderMolen of Holland, Catheryn Larson of Alto, and Kaylee and Keith Colley of Port St. Lucie, FL. She is also survived by her brother and his wife, Gary and Donna Woods of Laguna Hills, CA; sister-in-law and husband, Wilma and George Cool of Comstock; brother-in-law, Wayne Larson of Charlotte, NC; sister-in-law, Sandy Larson of Henderson, NV and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Larry Larson. Sharon was a resident of Paw Paw Township for 33 years and served on the Planning Commission, Tax Revue Board and as Deputy Clerk. Sharon was also an active board member since the inception of the Lake Brownwood Assoc. and worked for Paw Paw Community Education. She spent over 20 years working for the Michigan Steelhead & Salmon Fishermen’s Assoc. as bookkeeper and serving as board member as well as bookkeeper and editor of the Great Lakes Sport Fishing News. The family will receive friends, Friday 5-8 pm at the ADAMS Funeral Home, Paw Paw. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Van Buren County, 310 E. Sherwood St. Decatur, MI 49045.
