Passed away Friday morning, April 16, 2004 at his home. Ludwig was born April 25, 1916 in East Chicago, IN the son of the late Vincent and Anna Piotrowski. Ludwig was employed by the Fruit Growers Company, Paw Paw and Rudy’s Garage until his retirement in 1987. He was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Paw Paw and the Polish National Alliance. On July 5, 1945 in Germany, Ludwig was united in marriage to the former Anna Liaugaudas who survives. Also surviving are sister, Jadwyga Piotrowski of Lithuania and a nephew, Voidotis (Nijolie) Liaugaudas of Lithuania. He was preceded in death by a brother, John Piotrowski. Family will receive friends Monday 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at the ADAMS Funeral Home, Paw Paw where a vigil service will be held at 6:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday 11 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Paw Paw with Rev. Fr. Robert F. Creagan celebrant. Interment will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Paw Paw. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Van Buren County.
