Passed away peacefully Friday afternoon, April 16, 2004 at Bronson Methodist Hospital, Kalamazoo. Pam was born Jan. 3, 1960 in Paw Paw the daughter of Donald and Barbara (Huff) Grimm. Pam loved old movies and Disney cartoon movies. She was a graduate of Paw Paw Adult Education in 1988. On August 23, 1986 in Gobles, Pam was united in marriage to Christopher J. Matthies who survives. Also surviving are 4 children, Bill Matthies of Georgia and Chad (Darcy) Matthies of Detroit, Mike White of Paw Paw and Bridgette White of Lawton; 3 grandchildren; her father, Donald (Lillian) Grimm of Lawton; father and mother-in-law, Bill and Wilma Matthies of Lawton; brothers and sisters, Donald “Skip” (Brenda) Grimm of Lawton, Sharon (Mitch) Matthies of Lawton, Diane (Tom) Durham of CA, Darlene (Wayne) Snyder of Battle Creek, Norma (Bob) Holtzman of Battle Creek, Ron (Cinda) Bailey of IN, Phillip (Celia) Bailey of Mont.; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother, Barbara (Huff) Grimm, brother, Jerry Bailey and a sister, Linda Mann. Family will receive friends Monday 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at the ADAMS Funeral home, Paw Paw where funeral services will be held Tuesday 2 p.m. with Rev. Ron Packer officiating. Interment will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, Lawton. Memorial contributions may be made to Huntington Disease thru the funeral home.
