Passed away Sunday, May 16, 2004 at Bronson Methodist Hospital, Kalamazoo. Zella was born March 8, 1945 in Doster the daughter of Howard and Pearl (McClish) Prolo. She was a member of Grace Missionary Baptist Church, Mattawan. On Nov. 28, 1962 in Doster Zella was united in marriage to William McCrackin who survives. Also surviving are a daughter, Tammy (Ray) Berry of Paw Paw; son Anthony McCrackin of Mattawan; 4 grandchildren, Jordan, James, Jeremy Smith, & Caleb Berry; 2 sisters, Fran Grimm, Dort (Herm) Madison; 4 brothers, Jackie (Juanita) Prolo, Gaylon, (Carol) Prolo, Dean Prolo, and Jerry (Janet) Prolo; aunt & uncle, Carl and Mert McClish; son-in-law, Kevin Smith. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Amy Sue Smith in 2002, 2 brothers, Howard Prolo, Jr., & Jesse Prolo; sister, Viola Prolo. Friends are being received Wednesday 2-4 & 6-8 pm at the ADAMS Funeral Home, Paw Paw where services will be held Thursday 2 pm, with Pastor Joe Culberson of the Temple Missionary Baptist Church, Michigan City, IN, Officiating.
