Our family will miss Betty very much. As Granny Goodwitch, as a wonderful neighbor, and friend. She shared so much love with the children, and was an inspiration to adults who need to remember to have fun. Her creative spirit, and fun loving ways will never be forgotten. God Bless you, Love from the Warners.

My second "Mom" Betty will go on in the heart and spirit of many of us whose lives she touched. From my earliest childhood memories, Betty was there to wipe a tear, mend a skinned knee or recite the rules of Cannasta. She accepted all of us (the young people who came to visit regularly on the weekends), whether it was in good times or bad, who we were was always good enough. Yet she wouldn't let us get away with "slack" behavior or excuses. She was one of the strongest, most resourceful role models in my life. She worked hard without complaint and in the face of circumstances that might bring any other person to their knees, she forged ahead. Her laughter, her voice and her "way" are etched in my memory. She will be missed, truly and deeply.

I want to let you know how I feel but I know in my heart that if I say it to you, I'll cry.
I have to say that I don't know what I would have done without "Aunt Betty's" help raising my kids. People sometimes say how strong I was, raising 3 kids alone. What they don't realize is that I had the BEST of help and support. She was always full of love, but was stern when she needed to be.
She was always there for us. She helped us so much with the loss of my Lauren and my parents.
Betty took great care of my kids when they were sick so I could work and she kept them overnight when I was working two jobs. She even gave me a job when I needed one.
She has always been there when we needed her. I can't tell you how many times she helped me with her sage advice and recipes when my 3 were asking for the dishes she made for them.
All that she taught us will continue to guide us through our lives. We will love her and miss her always.
I would like to thank all of you for making us a part of your family. It means more than you know.
Our deepest sympathy and lots of love,
Kym, Nate and Casey
She is with Lauren now....
