Richard "Michael" Douglas Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1978 - 2004 AGE: 26 DOUGLAS, Richard Michael Lawton Passed away Tuesday, August 3, 2004 at home. Michael was born July 22, 1978 in Kalamazoo the son of Steven and Yvonne (Dean) Douglas. He was a graduate of Decatur High School and attended Lighthouse Baptist Church, Bangor. On April 28, 2001 in Lawton Michael was united in marriage to the former Stephanie K. Schlieter who survives. Also surviving are a daughter, Makayla Douglas of Lawton, father Steven (Katherine) Douglas of Bangor, 2 sisters, Stephanie (Pete) Douglas of Gobles, Misty (Jason) Johnson of Eastland, TX; brother, Steven Douglas, Jr of Bogalusa, LA; maternal grandmother, Helen Dean of Portage; paternal grandmother, Charlene Kay of Kalamazoo; paternal grandfather, Richard (Charlotte) Douglas of Angola, IN, 5 nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Yvonne Douglas in 1999 and his maternal grandfather, Gordon Dean in 2000. Friends will be received Sunday 6-8 pm at the ADAMS Funeral Home, Paw Paw. Services will be held Monday 11 am at the Lighthouse Baptist Church, Bangor. Interment will be in Mt. Ever-Rest Cemetery, Kalamazoo.
