Passed away Friday morning, September 3, 2004 at Bronson Methodist Hospital, Kalamazoo. Darlene was born January 12, 1933 in Otsego, MI the daughter of William and Edna Lucasse. On August 12, 1964 in Otsego, Darlene was united in marriage to Donald D. Rankin who survives. A very loving mother she is survived by a daughter, Rebecca (Robert) DeYoung of Kalamazoo; 5 sons, Donald Rankin of Paw Paw, Ric Massey of Nevada, E. Christopher Massey of Arizona, Gregory (Cindy) Massey of Coloma, MI and William (Helen) Lent of Kalamazoo; 10 grandchildren; sister, Nancy (Wayne) VanDerhoff of Otsego; several nieces and nephews. There will be no visitation as cremation has taken place. A family service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are by the ADAMS Funeral Home, Paw Paw.
