Dorothy Shepard Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1927 - 2004 Age: 77 SHEPARD, Dorothy Elm Street Kalamazoo Passed away Sunday morning, Sept. 5, 2004 at Tendercare of Westwood, Kalamazoo. Dorothy was born June 7, 1927 in Chicago, IL the daughter of the late Charles and Ethel (Griggs) Shepard. Dorothy had been a resident of Kalamazoo, MI for many years. Before becoming a resident of Kalamazoo, Dorothy married the late Oliver Johnson in East St. Louis, IL. Dorothy is survived by her eight children, Thomas Shepard and Robert Shepard both of Kalamazoo; Isiah (Sharon) Shepard of Scotts, Tyrice Shepard and Percy Shepard both of Kalamazoo, Claude Shepard of Georgia, Diana Shepard and Debra Shepard both of Kalamazoo; 29 grandchildren; 2 sisters, her twin, Doris Hayes of Chicago, IL and Leola Greenlee of Aurora, IL; a host of great grandchildren, friends and family. Family will receive friends Thursday 6-8 p.m. at the ADAMS Funeral home, Paw Paw where funeral services will be held Friday 1 p.m. Memorial contributions may be directed to the family.

I miss and Love you grandma, I know now that you are at peace, happy and with the God of abraham, Issac, and Jacob. I am Happy that you are no longer sick, and that you are now free. Maybe one day we will see each other again. I love you. Your Eldest grandaughter, Rachel.

Debra, I am so sorry to hear of your mother's death. I know how much you loved her and having just lost my mother, I know how much you will miss her. I hope you are doing well, you and the baby.
