It has been just over 9 years since we lost you. Oh Jeanette. How would I have made it through my childhood without you. You opened your home and your heart to our family; for years that was the only way or reason we celebrated the holidays. Our family was broken and you gave us love and understanding. You and John were the only people invited to my highschool graduation party, you let me have my grad school graduation party at your home. You were there for so many big moments. Teaching me how to cook with a pressure cooker, bringing low sodium broth and lending me a soup pan when my dad had his bypass surgery. I remember you from the time I was 7. Singing Grease 2 songs in the van on the way to Hayloft, girlscouts, spending so many nights at your home. I thank God for you-you saved me from Lorraine so many times. Gave me a safe place to go to so many times. I could go on and on. I still dream of you. Quite often. You come back but no one knows where you've been and we're not allowed to talk about it. Every day angels, that is, the truly loving saving people who walk among us are so rare. You were one of the most compassionate and loving and least judgmental people I've ever known. One who truly loved unconditionally- I've only met two people in my whole life who loved like that. You touched us all. Your whole family will always have a very special place in my heart. Thank you. Thank you for loving those of us who weren't loved by our own quite as much as we should have been. I will always remember fondly visiting you when you were baby sitting Kyle. No matter how we grew and changed over the years, you were always taking care of one of us. Things are so different now-so many of us have gone our separate ways. But you helped shape me and brought what bit of happiness and peace and love you were able as often as you were able and I will always be truly grateful for that. I prayed for you so hard the day my dad died that you would please come get him. Did you hear me? Did you come? I hope you are together now somehow some where. He's the one who called that day. I ran home to your girl as fast as I could. I stayed with her and Kyle, crying behind the garage so he wouldn't see me. I hear her voice "but it's my mom jessica." I don't think I'll ever stop hearing that. So crushed. oh our hearts did break-Randy is right about that. Our hearts will never be the same. I love you and your baby girl so much and I always will. I pray that Jon, Rina, Kristen and John will find peace and comfort. That someday it won't hurt quite as bad. truly the most beautiful woman inside and out.

As a little girl, I lived right around the corner from Jeanette. I will always remember how she would let us swim in her pool and play with her cats.

I remember being at Jeanette's home and she was making a flag for St. Mary's church. It was so beautiful. When I complimented her she stated, " I feel it is a sin when God gives you a talent and you don't use it. I am just using my talent." That impressed me. I also remember her taking me upstairs, just like a kid at Christmas. She said she had something to show me. Under her bed was a box of kittens! She certainly loved her Cats. My thoughts and prayers are with John & the kids. Nancy Burge

For so many years growing up, your home was my home. Kristen & I were more than best friends, we were sisters. I looked to her Mom as my Mom too! Jeanette taught me so much, not just in Girl Scouts, but in life,& health, boy how she would get on me about vitamins! I have so many wonderful memories. I will never forget Kristen's hamster got sick and Jeanette took a $5.00 hamster to the vet. It didn't matter how small or insignificant, if it was important to her children, it was important to her as well. She had such a big, warm heart. But I think most of all I respected her for her straightforwardness. You always knew where you stood with her. NO beating around the bush. I like to think I got that from her! Jeanette, Mom, I love you. I will miss you very much. John, Kristen, Rina, & Jon, You all have a special place in my heart, and my prayers are with you. Love, Bethany

My sincerest sympathies to John and the kids and family and friends. I know Jeanette as a friend and the "Queen of Quilting". She was a artist in many ways. She was a fine lady with exquisite taste. Her hands were tiny (and her bladder), but the works they created were masterpieces. Jeanette possesed both grace and class. Her home displayed her elegance. Any holiday, her homedisplayed her classic taste. Her love of family and children (especially little ones) was inspirational. I was always impressed with Jeanettes' intelligance, she was very smart especially in math and logic. A lovely lady in many ways. I will miss her dearly. I am sure the kitty-cats will miss her gentle touch. They had a true champion in Jeanette. If she supported a cause she was willing to work steadfastly at her task. I feel privledged to call Jeanette my friend.

Everyone has said that they have suffered a broken heart at one time or another. As for me it started the the loss of this amazingly beutiful woman. I have known Jeanette since I was a small boy and over thirty years I never felt so much love ,compassion, and admiration for any, she was my angel and helped me when my heart was so heavy, often I felt so tired and unsure of how to face the hard times in my life, and all it took was a hug and a " I love you" from Jeanette to give me the strength to smile and have faith. I will never forget you, and you will always be such a big part of me, I will feel you in my heart forever, I was blessed to have known you, and honored to be loved by you, I love and miss you so much, Randy

To the family of Jeanette I would like to give my sincere condolence for your loss. I am not a close family member or special friend but did have the opportunity of meeting Jeanette briefly. In that brief encounter I came to know that she had many wonderful talents. I will always treasure the many handmade, beautiful, beaded ornaments that she made for me and they give me much pleasure every holiday season. We shared a common love for cats too. She was always there to those fur creatures that needed more love and caring in a time of need. I could see that she had a warm heart. Jeanette was a special person to be able to meet. I'm so sorry for your loss. Kathy Marcelletti
