Billy passed away Wednesday morning, Nov. 17, 2004 at his home. Billy was born Aug. 4, 1925 in Flint, MI the son of Adrian and Mildred (Vosburg) Heystek. He was a veteran of World War II serving in the United States Marines. He was a sales representative for the Ithaca Gun Company and loved shooting Skeet. He had won several state and national skeet shooting championships. Billy was an avid sportsman and loved hunting, golfing, fishing and playing pool. On October 18, 1946 in Lawton, Billy was united in marriage to the former June Maxine Jones who survives. Also surviving are a daughter, Bonnie June (Walter) Miller of Grand Junction; Granddaughter, Laura June Burns (Richard) Crosbie of Lawton; great granddaughters, Reagan June and Corri Bree Crosbie of Lawton; brother, Douglas Heystek of Mattawan; 2 nephews. Family will receive friends Friday 6-8 p.m. at the ADAMS Funeral Home, Paw Paw where funeral services will be held Saturday, 1 p.m. with Rev. Horace Turner officiating. Interment will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, Lawton. Memorial contributions may be made to Visiting Nurse and Hospice of Kalamazoo or the First Baptist Church, Paw Paw.
