Passed away Monday morning, December 6, 2004 at Bronson Methodist Hospital, Kalamazoo. Jean was born April 21, 1916 in Ahmeek, MI the daughter of John and Elizabeth (Hartikanen) Olds. On August 20, 1938 in Bowling Green, OH, Jean was united in marriage to Charles J. Staples who preceded her in death on October 8, 1999. Surviving are 4 daughters; 2 sons; 13 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Family will receive friends Thursday 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. at the ADAMS Funeral Home, Paw Paw where funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Samaritan’s Purse in Minneapolis, MN.
