Passed away Wednesday morning, January 5, 2005 at LakeView Continuing Care Center, Lawton. Mae was born May 19, 1909 in Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada the daughter of the late Jack and Emmie (Wigglesworth) Tiffin. She was a member of the Paw Paw United Methodist Church. On December 31, 1931 in Canada, Mae was united in marriage to Elwin James Stoughton who preceded her in death on March 3, 1995. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Alice Wisher on Feb. 15, 1984, grandson, Jimmie Beebe, and a sister, Florence Turner. Surviving are a daughter, Shirley (James) Beebe of Hopkins, MI; 2 sons, Donald J. Stoughton of Pontiac, MI and Dale D. Stoughton of Houston, TX; 11 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; 7 great great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends Friday 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at the Adams Funeral Home, Paw Paw where funeral services will be held Saturday 11 a.m. with Rev. Carolin Spragg officiating. Interment will be in Almena Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the United Methodist Church, Paw Paw.
