Dear Bryne Family,
We share your sorrow in the loss of our beautiful sister, aunt, and your precious wife, mother & grandmother. Mary Alice was always the optimist, especially in the Currie family doings' reunions, birthdays, & various celebrations. She must have made a pact with Mom Currie to keep the siblings & families continue to get together and enjoy one another. Always a planner, she would make one feel you were shirking your duty if you didn't "do your best" at anything you tried. This trait must have helped her children and kinfolk achieve even more than they would dream possible.
Always a great listener, with her beautiful eyes looking right at you to let you know you had her utmost attention and concern. We love you sister, and will miss you always. brother Jerry, Madelyn & family

I was saddened to read Mary Alice's obituary in the Gazette. She was a very pretty and charming person. I remember her coming to the 75th Anniversary Party at the Paw Paw Library and performing a ladylike Charleston! She will be very much missed by everyone. - Tina

Very sorry to hear about the great loss of Aunt Mary Alice. She was such a pleasure to be around and always made everyone she talked to feel very special and important. I will always remember our Currie family trips when I was a little girl to the Byrne family's house. Aunt Mary Alice always kept us busy doing puzzles, or playing games or helping all of us kids put on a play for the adults. Then we would go do some sight seeing at Niagra Falls. It was always so much fun, I loved going there. Aunt Mary Alice was an inspiration to me even in later years with her continual great attitude and outlook on life. She will be greatly missed here on earth, but gladly welcomed up in Heaven.
Love to all the family- Kim
