Not sure if you remember us, I drove thru your neighbors yard last year & caused quite a ruckus! We wanted to let you know how sorry we are for your loss. If there is anything at all we can do for you please feel free to call us. We wanted to attend the services but unfortunately Ed was getting his chemo this morning. Again, we are so sorry and our thoughts are with you.

Rick Healy was my best friend. He was my brother and I loved him as such. He showed me what courage is all about during his protracted illness. Never once did I hear him complain nor ask assistance although I was always there for him. He would joke about his condition to put others at ease because he didn't want anyone to pity him. Rick was always a selfless person and a true, "shirt off his back" individual and was touched in some way by everyone who knew him. He was proud of his service to his country during the Viet Nam era and proud of his skill as an independant contractor. I learned much from him. Rick was also a sentimentalist. He was not ashamed to show his emotion over a sappy movie or a friend in trouble. The world will miss Rick Healy. We need all the Ricks we can get and I for one am a much better man to have known him.

I am so sorry for your loss. Everyone will miss Rick. One memory I have of Rick is the way he cut onions. He taught me how to cut the perfect onion and I use his technique all the time. :-)Honest! I thought of him last Friday when I was cooking dinner and cutting onions. Silly, I know, but I do know how important Rick was to all of you. He was a stand-up man. Please know that I share your sorrow.
