Dear Bill and family: In checking the obits with Adams for a couple of recent ones I discovered Arlene's name there. Usually Paw Paw people are good about letting us know but we did not hear about Arlene. I had heard earlier you moved to a beautiful new home and thought how lovely that was. Terry joins in sending sympathy to you and the family and again my apology for being so late. We remember with fondness the time you set up cmping right next to us at Brimley and we played hours of bridge as the kids played together! Ann Blakely

Dear Bill and family, I deeply regret seeing the notice in the Paw Paw paper of the passing of Arlene. The old school memories flash back to the eighth grade which is when, I believe, Arlene first came to Paw Paw schools. I also look back on your ongoing High School romance and think of how great it is that you have been married for 63 years. That is a proud accomplishment. I lost my first wife at just over 30 years of marriage. It must be even tougher after 63 years, but if I know you,you are strong and will move on with your life, but always carrying cherished memories. Our condolences and prayers are with you and your family. Take care. Friend and classmate, John Reeves
