Passed away Wednesday morning, January 19, 2005 at Lakeview Continuing Care Center, Lawton. Isabelle was born December 29, 1905 in Keeler, Michigan the daughter of Oliver M. and Norah Ann (Sumrill) Adams. She was a graduate of Western Normal Teachers College in Kalamazoo and taught at a one room school in Keeler. She was a Red Cross worker during World War II, was a member of the Paw Paw Mother’s Club, and a contributor the Van Buren County History Book. On June 24, 1930 in South Bend, IN, Isabelle was united in marriage to Charles L. Henderson who preceded her in death on October 19, 1976. She was also preceded in death by a son, Charles O. Henderson, 4 brothers and 3 sisters. Surviving are a son, Bruce K. (Sherry) Henderson of DeWitt, MI; 6 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Joan Henderson of CA; many nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends Tuesday (1/25/2005) 11 a.m. to 12 noon at the Paw Paw United Methodist Church where funeral service will be held at 12 p.m. with Rev. Carolin Spragg officiating. Interment to follow in Keeler Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society or Hospice of Van Buren County. Arrangements by the Adams Funeral Home, Paw Paw.

I'm so sorry to hear of your loss. I'll always remember Isabelle with my grandmother Catherine Rieck, they always had such fun together. I'm glad she is now resting with God and with my grandmother.
