Passed away Friday morning, Feb. 4, 2004 at Lakeview Continuing Care Center in Lawton. Maggie was born Sept. 10, 1915 in Argo, IL the daughter of the late William and Catherine (Ignocheck) Kaktis. Maggie attended St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Paw Paw and was a member of the National Grape Crop Association. In 1934 in Argo, IL, Maggie was united in marriage to Vincent F. Jordan who preceded her in death on Aug. 22, 1998. She was also preceded in death by 2 brothers, Ted and Raymond Kaktis and a sister, Mary Gamble. Surviving are a son, Thomas (Audrey) Jordan of Kalamazoo, 2 grandchildren, Mark (Marie) Jordan and Debra (Todd) Hill; 2 step-grandchildren, James (Lori) Markus and Thomas (Wendy) Markus; several great grandchildren; many great great grandchildren; 3 sisters, Florence Watt and Patricia (Joseph) Slowik of Chicago, IL and Dorothy (Arthur) Shurtleeff of San Diego, CA. Family will receive friends Sunday, 2-4 pm at the Adams Funeral Home, Paw Paw where funeral services will be held Monday 1 p.m. with Rev. Fr. Robert F. Creagan, officiating.
