Passed away Monday evening, Feb. 7, 2005 at LakeView Community Hospital, Paw Paw. Mary was born May 11, 1914 in Chicago, IL the daughter of the late Joseph and Katie (Heim) Sahn. Mary loved bingo, cards, knitting, crocheting slippers and afghans for kids, politics and the Green Bay Packers. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Hartford, the Altar Society of the Church, the O So Easy Club of Lawrence, and the Lawrence Senior Citizens. On July 18, 1934 in Chicago, Mary was united in marriage to Simon N. Pollich who preceded her in death on Nov. 14, 1986. She was also preceded in death by sister, Anna Mendler. Surviving is a son, Nicholas (Ilah) Pollich of Lawrence; daughter, Mary Ann (James) Foster of Lawton; 3 grandchildren, Doug (Karen) Pollich, Deb (Curt) Newhouse and Joan (Tony) Brewer; 10 great grandchildren, Nicholas and Nora Pollich, Anthony and Zachery Brewer, Blaine and Kathy Newhouse, Courtney and Gaylene Todd, Michael and Holly Newhouse; nephew, Richard Mendler; niece, Joann Baswell. Family will receive friends, Thursday 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at the ADAMS Funeral Home, Paw Paw where a vigil service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday 11 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Hartford with Rev. Fr. Bob Flickinger celebrant. Interment will be in Hill Cemetery, Lawrence. Memorial contributions may be made to Immaculate Conception Church, Hartford.
