Dear Pat and Family,
Marlyn and I were very saddened to hear about Gerry. He will be missed not only by his family but his many friends and the many students and individuals in and out of education he touched with his compasssion and caring. You and the children are in our thoughts and prayers. We were out of town during the time of the Memorial Service.

Pat and Family,
I'm grateful for the time I had with you and Jerry at the meeting in January.
Education has lost a champion. Jerry's positive outlook and high standards are examples to us all.
It was a comfort to know he was in Watervliet watching out for students. Now it's a comfort to know he's watching out for us all.
May your faith and your memories give you peace.
Sheran

We both are from Dowagiac. We now live in Decatur. We both had Mr. Goodman as an English teacher in Dowagiac, 2 years in a row. We had no idea he lived in Paw Paw or we would have come to see him. We actually went to look for him in Dowagiac school when our son attended there2 years ago. We have fond memories of Mr. Goodman and will never forget him. Best wishes and many happy memories to you. We thank the lord above for the time we had to know him. He was a really good person.
