Passed away Monday, March 7, 2005 at LakeView Continuing Care Center, Lawton. Hazel was born April 1, 1918 in St. Paul, MN the daughter of Fed and Lydia (Strukmeyer) Rood. On July 3, 1937 in Chicago, IL Hazel was united in marriage to Andrew Leali who preceded her in death on Oct. 5, 1981. Surviving are a son, Raymond (Marilyn) Leali of ADAMS Funeral Home, Paw Paw; daughter, Joyce (Michael) Grabbe of Lawton; 5 grandchildren, Keith (Annie) Leali, Kellie (Mark) Jilbert, Clarissa (Charles) Taylor, Paul (Sara Bouk) Grabbe, Jonathon (Dominique Martinez) Grabbe; 5 great grandchildren, Seth & Lainie Leali, Elizabeth Sawyer, Caleb & Morgan Taylor. She was preceded in death by a daughter Dolores Leali in 1946, 3 brothers and 1 sister. A memorial service will be held Saturday 1 pm at the ADAMS Funeral Home, Paw Paw, with Rev. Henry DeVries, of the Paw Paw Christian Reformed Church, Officiating. Interment will be in Oakridge Cemetery, Hillside, IL.
