Passed away Saturday afternoon, March 26, 2005 at Lakeview Continuing Care Center, Lawton. Lorraine, a member of the Chippewa Tribe, was born May 13, 1924 in Cheboygan, MI the daughter of the late Albert Joseph and Marion White (LeBlanc) Duffiney. Lorraine was an avid golf fan, loved to play bingo, and watch QVC. On September 6, 1969 in Dearborn, MI, Lorraine was united in marriage to Michael Rendina who preceded her in death in 1996. Surviving are 2 daughters, Beverly (Roger) Chamberlain of Lawton and Carole (John) Swindlehurst of Westland, MI; son Malcolm (Jeanette) Zienert of Moreno Valley, CA; 9 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; 2 sisters, Adelaide Ostrowske and Sandra Burr both of Cheboygan; brother, Roger Duffiney of Cheboygan; many nieces and nephews. Lorraine was preceded in death by a son, Stephen Zienert, grandson, Thomas Jackson, 4 brothers and 2 sisters. Family will receive friends Monday (3/28/2005) 6-8 p.m. at the Adams Funeral home, Paw Paw where a vigil service will be held at 8 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be held Tuesday 11 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Paw Paw with Rev. Fr. Robert F. Creagan celebrant. Interment will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Paw Paw. Memorial contributions may be made to West Michigan Cancer Center, Kalamazoo or the American Cancer Society.
