Mary and my Mom were close friends. Mary was the of the best and nicest person i have ever known. She was always there for my mom and my mom was for her. And it is a shame that we had to lose that good of a person at her age. I will never forget mary and how her and my mom were such good friends. And i wanted to say Thank you to her for being the great person that she was.

I will always remember Mary for her strong, undoubting faith and the way she took care of "her" residents at LVCCC. She treated them like they were part of her family. She was always creating fun and spontaneous moments for them and her co-workers. She really knew how to play a good practical joke. She made work fun. I loved to talk to Mary about my girls and her boys. What an awesome Mom! Every day at work it seems I remember a story about her or something reminds me of her and I'm glad. It makes me smile to remember things about her and I am so happy that I had the chance to know her.

I remember when I first started as a Nurse Aide at LVCCC I got frustrated and Mary pulled me aside and said, "Just Relax, and Watch." "This is how you do it." She had a way of calming people down and teaching them not to sweat the small stuff. The one thing I will NEVER forget...is her telling me about my children, "Relax..they're just babies, love them and hug them." I will miss her very much.

I've worked with Mary since she started at Lakeview we became instant friends. My daughter can remember staying with Mary one time and helped collect eggs. Thats all she could talk about for days were Mary's goat and turkeys. She always had a smile no matter what was going on. She was very strong in her fight with cancer. We will miss her very much.

In loving memory of a good friend an co-worker. Mary was a hard worker who was strong with her battle with cancer. She loved the lord, and is now in Heaven where she is no longer ill. We will miss you on Earth, but will see you again someday. Love, Barbie
