Went peacefully into the arms of the Lord Tuesday afternoon, July 5, 2005 at Rose Arbor Hospice Residence, Kalamazoo. Josephine was born November 19, 1914 in Chicago, IL the daughter of Joseph E. and Jennie E. (Bostwick) Mills. She was a member of the Assembly of God Church, Paw Paw and loved crocheting and reading. On January 13, 1998 in Paw Paw Josephine was united in marriage to Willard C. Daines who preceded her in death on Dec. 11, 2001. She was also preceded in death by a daughter Judith Ann Harrison; 2 sons, Max and Richard Harrison; 2 grandsons, Scott Harrison and Nickolas Stanbek; great grandson William Henry Harrison III; sister Gertrude Labuda and 2 brothers, William and Raymond Mills. Surviving are a daughter, Beverly (Henry) Mroczek of Decatur; 4 sons, Gerald (Arlene) Harrison of Decatur, William (Judy) Harrison of Plainwell, Lee (Debbie) Harrison of Odenton, MD and Dale (Sandy) Hiemstra of Paw Paw; 19grandchildren, 40 great grandchildren; 17 great great grandchildren; 2 sisters, Cora Hunt of Delton and Olive Rouston of Owosso; many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held Saturday, 11 a.m. at the Adams Funeral Home, Paw Paw with Pastor Jim Collison of the Watson Bible Church, Otsego officiating. Interment of cremains will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Paw Paw. Memorial contributions may be made to Rose Arbor Hospice Residence, Kalamazoo.
