Its been years since you passed, but I still think about the day that I found out. I didnt feel for myself, because I didnt know you that well, but I was heartsick at knowing that Jason had lost his spouse. I hope that years have healed this family. I think about them often.

This may come as a shock to some but late is better than never. I had just made it to see elaine on the day of her passing and I have to say that she will always be the one person who I looked up to.She was my big sis and I really miss the great times we shared. I believe in guardian angels and now no matter where I go or what I do, I will always know that she is right there by my side looking over me. I love her dearly and a quick message to her....."Elaine thank you for believing in me when no one else did." Love always and forever, Your brother, Logan

native american prayer
I give you this one thought to keep,
I am with you still, I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow,
I am the diamond glints on snow,
I am the sunlight on ripened grain,
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush,
I am the swift, uplifting rush
of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not think of me as gone -
I am with you still in each new dawn.

My prayers are with Elaine, Jason, and their loved ones. I knew Elaine from high school and she blessed those around her with her kind heart and open mind. I am shocked and greatly saddened to hear of her passing. Elaine had lots of compassion, quick wit, and a great sense of humor. I am glad to have known her yet wish I could have known her better. She will be missed.

I am filled with sorrow today. my thoughts and prayers are with Jason and the family during this time of loss. I am unable to attend the funeral but will spend the time in prayer remembering all the happy memories I have of Elaine. Like her love of animals. Her fun loving nature and easy going personality and most of all I will miss the way she and Logan were always so willing to break into song with me at a moments notice (Lambert).
With love Tammy (older cousin of Elaine)

My friend, Monica VanBrussel-Marler passed on the news of Elaine's passing to me. I wanted to send her husband and family my condolences. I was in her HS graduating class, though I admittedly have lost touch w/ most of our graduating class, with the exception of a few. However upon hearing the news I wanted to send you my thoughts and prayers.
I understand how a loss can be as I lost my youngest daughter, nearly two years ago. I had this reading read at her funeral, and I hope, that it brings you peace, as it has for me the many times I have read it since.
Turn again to Life
If I should die and leave you here a while, Be not like others, sore undone, who keep Long vigil by the silent dust and weep.
For my sake turn again to life and smile, Nerving thy heart and trembling hand to do That which will comfort other souls than thine; Complete these dear unfinished tasks of mine,
And I, perchance, may therein comfort you.

While in high school Elaine worked for both my wife, Annly, and at the farm.
She was one of the niceest people ever to work for either of us.
We were shocked to learn of her suffering and know that she is in a better place now.
Buddha bless all of you
