Passed away Saturday afternoon Aug. 27, 2005 at Bronson Methodist Hospital, Kalamazoo. Iva was born March 17, 1925 in St. Joseph, MI the daughter of the late Clinton C. and Eleanor Belle (Hardenbrook) Parker. Iva loved playing bingo, gardening but most of all being with her family. On February 20, 1943 in Roseland, IN, Iva was united in marriage to Clinton H. Buskirk who survives. Also surviving are a daughter, Iva Marie Dale of Lawrence; granddaughter and her family, Carol Lietzau of Paw Paw, LeAnna and Ashley; granddaughter, Vicki (Brian) Lietzau of Paw Paw and their family, Carson, Derek and Branden; grandson, Robert Dale of Lawrence and his children, Nicole, and Michael of Mt. Pleasant, Kristy Thompson, and Josh Thompson of Lawrence and Lindsey Thompson of Lawrence; granddaughter, Jean Stonehouse of Lawrence and her son, Nathan Rife; 3 sisters, Eloise Johnson of Gobles, Theodora Parker of St. Joseph and Clara Keil of Watervliet. She was preceded in death by an infant son, Terry Lee Buskirk; 2 brothers, Samuel and Chester Parker and 2 sisters, Ladaura Harmond and Elizabeth Hayden. Family will receive friends Thursday 5-7 p.m. at the Lawrence Fraternal Order of Police Lodge in Lawrence. Private family service will be held at a later date.
