During June’s 62 years in Paw Paw she was employed by several businesses the first being Waters Hardware as the bookkeeper, later she worked for the Shopping Center, Duo-Tang Company and finally Doctor Taylor as his dental assistant, retiring from this job in 1981. Because of the many years on Paw Paws Main Street she acquired many friends who will miss her. She was industrious in all the things she did and would help anyone who asked for assistance. Her home and family were all important to her and her every effort was bent to see to their well being and in her final hours it was apparent that her love will live forever. On February 14, 1943 in Gobles June was united in marriage to Albert B. Treat who survives. Also surviving are 2 sons, Terry (Sandy) Treat of Rochester Hills, and Tim (Carolyn) Treat of Edwardsburg; 5 grandchildren, Kimberly (John) Saunders, Michael, Nicole, Michelle, and Chris Treat; 5 great grandchildren; 3 sisters, Clara Bent, Lois (Walt) Johnson, and Claudia (Al) Rasmussen; brother, Cyris (Martha) Taylor; 2 nieces, Grace(Parks) Wilson, and Clara Sue (Bob) Anderson. She was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Clare and Paul Herriman; 2 sisters, Alice Zimmer, and Vivian Brown. Family will receive friends Thursday 2-4 & 6-8 pm at the ADAMS Funeral Home, Paw Paw, where an Eastern Star service will be held at 7 pm under the auspices of the Paw Paw-Lawton Chapter # 257 O.E.S. Funeral services will be held 11 am Friday at the funeral home with Rev. Robert Lynch, officiating. Interment will be in Wildey Cemetery, Paw Paw.
