Passed away Thursday morning, October 20, 2005 at Metron of Bloomingdale. Ed was born January 24, 1924 in Milwaukee, WI the son of the late Edward C. and Emily O. (Gutknecht) Werk. He was a brush maker and was employed by the Milwaukee Brush Company retiring in 1986 and moved to Bangor, MI in 1987. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Paw Paw. Surviving are a brother, Allen E. (Rose Mary) Werk of Bangor, 2 sisters, Elsbeth (Wilfred) Picchiottino of Milwaukee, WI and Ruth Erdmann of Milwaukee,WI; many nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends Sunday 4-6 p.m. at the Adams Funeral Home, Paw Paw. Funeral services will be held Monday 2 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church, Paw Paw with Rev. Mark Whittaker officiating. Interment will be in Breedsville Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Trinity School Scholarship Fund.
