Passed away Friday morning, Oct. 28, 2005 at home. Colette was born Aug. 20, 1930 in Chicago, IL the daughter of the late James and Marie (Sullivan) Kane. She was a member of St. Mary’s Church, Paw Paw. Colette was the loving wife of the late James E. McCaw, they were married on June 30, 1951 in Chicago, IL. He preceded her in death on Feb. 2, 1981. Surviving are 5 sons, James (Carole) McCaw, Michael (Deb) McCaw,Edward (Jennifer) McCaw, Joseph (Noel) McCaw, John (Holly) McCaw; 3 daughters, Jean Marie (Eric) Fuhrmann, Colette (Gordon) Konkle, Mary (Mark) Root; 17 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren 1 brother, James Kane; 1 sister, Marianne Williams. Family will receive friends Sunday 1-8 pm at the Adams Funeral Home, Paw Paw where a vigil service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, 11 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Paw Paw with Rev. Fr. Robert F. Creagan celebrant. Interment will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Paw Paw. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary’s Church or St. Mary’s School.
