Passed away Friday, November 18, 2005 at Bronson Methodist Hospital, Kalamazoo. Melvin was born, December 8, 1949 in Allegan the son of Robert and Margaret (Russell) Melvin. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, poker, NASCAR, & football. Surviving are a son, Robert D. Melvin of Florida; 2 sisters, Kathryn (Doug) Latchaw of Bloomingdale, Jayne Brown of Gobles; life partner of 23 years and best friend, Mary Lou Page of Bloomingdale; many nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Ronald Melvin. A memorial service will be held Tuesday at 6 pm at the ADAMS Funeral Home, Paw Paw. I have very pleasant memories of visiting Aunt Anna Melvins' farm with my Grandparents George and Lillian (Melvin) Spears. My deepest sympathies to the Melvin Family and friends.
