Passed away Sunday, November 20, 2005 at Bronson Methodist Hospital, Kalamazoo. Joe was born July 1, 1925 in Cicero, IL the son of the late Joseph and Frances (Cihak) Horak. He moved to Paw Paw in 1970 from Hinsdale, IL. and was a self employed janitor and painter. Joe was a member of the Paw Paw Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses and was committed to his church and their missions. He loved fishing with many of his fishing friends. On June 4, 1949 in Cicero, IL Joseph was united in marriage to Lois A. (Razim) Horak who survives. Also surviving are a sister, Irene (Clarence) Felt of Villa Park, IL; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Carol Ann; 2 sons, James Edward and Joseph Martin and a sister, Sally Ouska. A memorial service will be held Saturday, 2 p.m. at the Paw Paw Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses with brother, Rodney Russell officiating. Interment of Cremains will be in Wildey Cemetery, Paw Paw. Following the service a gather of family and friends will be held at the Paw Paw Lions Club. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the World Wide Bible Education Work of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
