Passed away Monday morning, Nov. 28, 2005 at her home. Barb was born September 6, 1929 in Paw Paw the daughter of Russell and Dorothy (Tuttle) Hindenach. She was a graduate of Paw Paw High School, attended Olivet College and received a floral design degree in Chicago. She worked 50 plus years at Tuttle Floral Company in Paw Paw with her parents and husband. Barb was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Paw Paw and enjoyed painting, cooking, and reading. On August 16, 1952 in Paw Paw, Barb was united in marriage to Victor C. Paynich who survives. Also surviving are a 2 sons, Christopher Paynich & Fiancée Janice Haan of Paw Paw, Mike (Susy) Paynich of Mattawan; 2 daughters, Heidi Paynich of Paw Paw and Wendy (Doug) Wendell of Paw Paw; 4 granddaughters, Caitlin, Mallory, Erin, Shanna (Fiancée Jim Kerr) Wendell; grandson, Shaun Wendell of Paw Paw; 2 great granddaughters, Ashleigh and Sarah; great grandson, Tyler; brother, Butch (Deanna) Hindenach of Paw Paw; many nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends Thursday 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at the Adams Funeral Home Paw Paw where a vigil service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday 11 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Paw Paw with Rev. Fr. Robert F. Creagan celebrant. Interment will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Paw Paw. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Van Buren County. For a lot of years I spent time with my best friend Heidi and never knew what her Mother looked like.But I did know that she was talented and that has been passed on to her children. Each of them, in their own way, was given some sort of gift from their Mother. Although she is gone, they will be constant reminders of Barb and what one person can achieve and create.
