Passed away Thursday afternoon, Dec. 15, 2005 at Lakeview Community Hospital, Paw Paw. Frances was born January 14, 1910 in Painesdale, Michigan the daughter of the late Frank and Mary (Pintar) Stiglich. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Paw Paw, Trinity Kids at Heart, the Martha Guild of the church and the Paw Paw Coterie Club. On December 5, 1955 in Chicago, IL, Frances was united in marriage to August Witte who preceded her in death on July 28, 1994. Surviving are a brother, Dr. George Stiglich, DDS, of Paw Paw; nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Frances was preceded in death by 3 brothers, Jack Stiglich, Frank Stiglich Sr. and Peter Stiglich; and 4 sisters, Antonia Kowal, Catherine Kreie, Anna Pintar and Josephine Stiglich. Family will receive friends Monday 5-7 p.m. at the Adams Funeral Home, Paw Paw where funeral services will be held Tuesday, 11 a.m. with Rev. Mark Whittaker of Trinity Lutheran Church, Paw Paw officiating. Interment will follow in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Paw Paw. Memorial contributions may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church Youth Group.
