Passed away Wednesday, Jan. 11, 2006. John was born November 27, 1953 in Paw Paw the son of the late John and Dorothy (Freeman) Fake, Sr. He was a 1971 graduate of Paw Paw High School and was employed at Paw Paw Press in Paw Paw as a printer retiring in 2003. John loved music, was an excellent cook and loved nature and the outdoors enjoying gardening, golf and horseshoes. Surviving are 3 sisters, Connie Ashcraft of Lawrence, Patricia (Michael) Sheeran of Paw Paw and Diana Fake of Gulfport, MS; 2 cousins, several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held Saturday, 11 a.m. at the Adams Funeral Home, Paw Paw with Rev. James Dyke officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the Heart Association or the Kalamazoo Nature Center. |

I am so very sorry for the loss your family is enduring. Johnny was a part of my life for a long time and I will always hold him dear in my heart. My boys, Mitchell, Theron and Travis are very saddened. They have remained close to him and they are going to miss him terribly. They will never forget him. They have helped him plant his garden now for a couple of years and we plan on doing one in his memory. You are in our thoughts and prayers.
