Passed away Thursday afternoon, January 12, 2006 at Metron of Bloomingdale. Marge was born June 23, 1912 in Chicago, IL the daughter of the late George and Anna (Boivie) Pierson. Marge was a member of the American Legion Unit #68 Auxiliary, Paw Paw, a member of the Eagles since 1945 and Past President of North Shore Eagles Aries #2008, Chicago, IL and a current member of the Paw Paw-Lawton Eagles Aerie #4310 and a friend of the First Baptist Church, Paw Paw. On October 1, 1932 in Waukegan, IL Margaret was united in marriage to Fred T. Sykes who preceded her in death on November 18, 2005. Surviving are a son, James Robert Sykes of Kalamazoo; sister, Ethel E. Stultz of Mount Prospect, IL; brother, LeRoy (Betty) Pierson of Flower Mound, TX; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a sister, Ruby Erickson and a brother, Hubert Pierson. A memorial service will be held Thursday, (1/19), 11 a.m. at the Adams Funeral Home, Paw Paw with Rev. Buddy Turner officiating. Interment of cremains will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, Lawton. Memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church, Paw Paw.
