A few days ago, Dad and Mom (Hoddy & Betty) told me of Mr. Paynich's passing. To his family, I give you my heartfelt prayers. I left Paw Paw in 1967; but, I still remember all the 'trips' that my brother and I would make to Tuttle's, each spring, with Mom. With Mom's love of flowers, and the different holidays/occasions that she 'needed' to give/send 'some flowers', our 'visits to Tuttles' were many. And, Mr. Paynich was always there to help Betty (and the kids) pick out the right plants. Thank you Lord for all our memories . . . . My prayers and blessings, Karen.

My sincere condolences to the Paynich family. My Mother, Elizabeth Dean, was a classmate of Vic's. Two years ago when I was in Paw Paw for the funeral of my Aunt, Margaret Grabbe, Mr. Paynich was kind enough to make a list of all the people who were still alive in his and my Mother's class. He gave it to me so I could bring it back home to her. She was unable to attend the funeral due to her ill health but he saw to it that their high school class bond was still there. My Mother has since passed away and I will always remember how much he cared to get that message back to her.
Sincerely,
Barbara Green

Dear Paynich Family,
My deepest sympathy to everyone. I
can't imagine how many lives Mr. Paynich touched. My Dad, Bob Howard, and "Vic" were good friends and so many times he would stop at my parents home just to visit or with a plant or flowers
"not ordered" but left just to cheer my parents. Many, many times he was at our local high school delivering flowers on so many occasions. He was always
cheerful and so caring. He will be
missed by so many and will always
have a special place in our hearts.

I remember Mr. Paynich fondly. I can see him driving the car to make floral deliveries. Once the door opened you could always smell a mixture of sweet flowers and cigars. He always had a smile, never heard him say anything mean about anyone. He was a good Father to his children and I am sure their lives have all been influenced, positively, by his actions and thoughtfulness. He is at peace with Barb once again. Fondly, Connie
