Mary G. Erickson Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1939 - 2006 Age: 67 ERICKSON, Mary G. Paw Paw Road Paw Paw Passed away Monday morning, May 29, 2006 at Laurels of Galesburg after a long struggle with Multiple Sclerosis. May was born May 19, 1939 in Decatur, MI the daughter of the late Steve and Bertha (Konkoly) Nemeth. She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Paw Paw. On September 9, 1961 in Decatur, MI, Mary was united in marriage to Edward C. Erickson who preceded her in death on May 21, 2005. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Frances Deming. Surviving are 2 children, daughter, Laurette Erickson of Paw Paw; son, Carl Erickson of Edmond, OK; brother, Jim (Beverly) Nemeth of Dowagiac, MI; several nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends Wednesday 6-8 p.m. at the ADAMS Funeral Home, Paw Paw where a vigil service will be held at 8:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, 11 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Paw Paw with Rev. Fr. Robert F. Creagan celebrant. Interment will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Paw Paw. Memorial contributions may be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.

I am so sorry to learn of your loss. Mary and I attended school together -- and while in high school, were good friends. I was a bridesmaid in Ed and Mary's wedding. As the years passed, our lives took different avenues; we lost contact. Again, my sincere condolences. She was a very special lady. Donalee Dyer Wermeister

Dear Carl and Laurie,I am your father's first cousin. I don't know if you rmemeber me, but I remember both of you very well Sorry to hear of your mom's passing. I remember many good times with her, and I especially remember her beautiul smile. Sincerly, your cousin, Mary Ann Rich and Joe Lonergan.
