Passed away Saturday evening, June 17, 2006 at Country Haven Adult Foster Care in Kalamzaoo. John was born November 20, 1946 in Kalamazoo, MI the son of Chester and Darlene (Playford) Springer. John was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Paw Paw John’s active life was slowed down with juvenile diabetes. He loved woodworking and made several fine pieces of furniture. He was preceded in death by his father Chester in July of 1985 and a brother David. Surviving are a son, Tony Springer of South Carolina; 2 grandchildren; mother, Darlene (nee Playford) Springer of Mattawan; 2 brothers, Frank (Carylle) Springer of Kalamazoo and Dennis Springer of Fountain, MI; sister, Karen Beazley of Tustin,CA; several nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends Wednesday 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church, Paw Paw where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. with Rev. Mark Whittaker officiating. Interment will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Mattawan. Memorial contributions may be directed to the family. Arrangements by the Adams Funeral Home, Paw Paw.

John was a good friend and person. I had lost track of John and did not know where he was until I seen his name in the obituraries. John helped me a lot in my new home in 1982 remodleing. I will miss him. I wish I would have known earlier about his death. He is with the Lord now and is healed.

WE WOULD LIKE YOU TO KNOW HOW VERY SORRY WE ARE , JOHN WAS A VERY FRIENDLY AND ALWAYS WILLING TO LEAD A HELPING HAND, OUR GIRLS AND US THOUGHT VERY HIGHLY OF THEIR UNCLE JOHN AND OUR BROTHER IN LAW , NO MATTER WHAT JOHN WAS A GOOD MAN ,HE WILL TRUELY BE MISSED WE ARE ONLY SORRY THAT WE DIDN'T KNOW WHERE JOHN WAS AT .
