Passed away Friday morning June 23, 2006 at LakeView Community Hospital. Stephanie was born August 12, 1909 in Chicago, IL the daughter of Joseph and Theresa (Mikalowski) Rainis. Stephanie was a member of the Paw Paw Senior Citizens and a member of the Women’s Polish National Alliance since 1967. On April 30, 1932 in Chicago, IL, Stephanie was united in marriage to Martin R. Long who preceded her in death in 1967. She was also preceded in death by a brother and 2 sisters. She's the beloved mother of Carole (Julius) Schaefer of Lawton, MI; and Donald (Cecile) Long of Paw Paw; 5 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren; 7 great great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held Monday 11 a.m. at St. Paul’s United Methodist Church, Lawton with Rev. Ron Brooks officiating. Interment of cremains will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, Lawton. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul’s United Methodist Church Building Fund or the American Cancer Society. Arrangements are by the Adams Funeral Home, Paw Paw.
