Passed away Thursday morning, July 6, 2006 at his home. Deo was born January 24, 1938 in Lawton the son of the late Carroll and Verna (Beach) Reynolds. He was a veteran serving in the U.S. Army. He was employed by Honee Bear Canning Company as a mechanic for 20 years and was an agricultural farmer all his life. He loved fishing hunting and the outdoors. He was a member of the Paw Paw-Lawton Eagles Aerie #4310 and the Paw Paw-Lawton Lodge # 25 F&AM. On March 15, 2002, Deo was united in marriage to Anne Hill who survives. Also surviving are a daughter, Dawn Reynolds of Lawton; son-in-law Donald Prpich of Lawton; 4 grandchildren, Jessica, Melissa, Vanessa and Donald Jr.; sister, Zoe Pond of Lawton; brother Rex (Sue) Reynolds, Sr. of Lawton; aunt, Vivian Lewis of Lawton; many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by a sister, Cleo Turner and a brother, Jack Reynolds. There will be no visitation as cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held Tuesday (7/11) 4 p.m. at the Kalamazoo County Masonic Center on U Ave., Schoolcraft with Rev. Ron Packer officiating followed by a Masonic memorial service under the auspices of the Paw Paw-Lawton Lodge # 25 F&AM. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Van Buren County or the West Michigan Cancer Center. Arrangements by the Adams Funeral Home, Paw Paw.

I was so sorry to hear of Deo's illness and passing. I was out of town on vacation at the time of his memorial service. Deo was very special to as I was growing up and I will always remember his smile and compassion of others. My prayers and thoughts are with all his family.
