Passed away Saturday morning, July 15, 2006 at Kairos Dwelling Home in Kalamazoo. Dominic was born April 2, 1925 in Cleveland, OH the son of the late Louis and Antoinette (Sangolla) Cirino. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II serving in the Pacific Theater as a Norton Bomb Sight Technician. Dominic was employed by the City of Detroit and moved to Lawton after his retirement in 1987 and then drove school bus for the Lawton Schools for 9 years. He is a member of St. Mary’s Church, Paw Paw and was Past Grand Knight of the Berkley Knights of Columbus Council in Berkley, MI and is a member of the Paw Paw Council #3798 Knights of Columbus, Paw Paw. Dominic was an avid sports fan, loved golf and the ponies. On May 29, 1947 in Highland Park, MI Dominic was united in marriage to the former Mary M. Gable who survives. Also surviving are 3 sons, Harold “Butch” (Karen) Cirino of Lawton, Dominic (Judy) Cirino of Las Vegas, NV, and Paul (wife, Kathleen Mikusko) Cirino of Lititz, PA; grandchildren, Sean, Anthony and Michael Cirino, David (Tammie) Caddell, James Caddell, Kenneth Caddell, Thomas (Theresa) Caddell, Sandra (Dennis) Fredericks and Paul Caddell; 14 great grandchildren; brother, Nicholas (Mildred) Cirino of Dearborn Heights, MI; 2 sisters, Theresa (James) Yeager of Dearborn Heights, MI and Louise Williams of Grosse Pointe, MI; many nieces and nephews. Dominic was preceded in death by a daughter, Connie Caddell, great granddaughter Alicia Cirino and a brother, Michael Cirino. Family will receive friends Tuesday 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at the Adams Funeral Home, Paw Paw where a vigil service will be held Tuesday evening at 7:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday (7/19) 11 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Paw Paw with Rev. Fr. Robert F. Creagan celebrant. Interment will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery, Lawton with military honors. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Kairos Dwelling Home in Kalamazoo.

Sorry to hear of the passing of Dominic. He and I played golf on the senior league at Lake Cora.May his soul rest in piece.
