Taking care of his lawn was another favorite thing to do. Bud retired from the City of Kalamazoo, MI after 36 years of working both for the Water and Public Services departments. Moved to Lawton around 1992 just prior to his retirement and quickly became a “local”. In the last couple years his new family at Lakeview Continuing Care gave him so much comfort. Thanks so much, Buddy loved you all. He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret, and his daughter Nancy. Surviving is son David of Portage and several nephews, nieces and cousins. Cremation will take place and his internment will be at Oak Grove Cemetery in Lawton. A time to share memories will be held at St Paul’s United Methodist Church, 117 S. Franklin Street, Lawton MI on Wednesday, August 2nd, 2006 at 3:00 PM. Memorial contributions may be made to St Paul’s United Methodist Church, Lawton MI. I have known Bud a long time being with Scott and Chris. We were also neighbors when we lived in Lawton. We always had to pick on Bud at the restaurant. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family.
