Cora and Family,
Paw Paw has lost a very special person when the Lord took David home. It is through the efforts of David and Peggy that Paw Paw opened their eyes to the needs of handi-cap persons and did something about it. Thank You for that.
We go back a ways to the S&S enterprises. I never was sure if it meant Shipley and Sherburn or Stupid and Stupider. Any how it was great fun.
May God be with you and give you strength to get through all the days ahead. God Bless you all--Laurel and Dale

David displayed great courage in the face of pain and untold obstacles. He showed all of us how to live a dignified life despite these obstacles. And further, I think that Cora is a hero for her role in the loving care she provided throughout the years. I'm proud to be part of such a family.

I was friends with David for many years. We spent lots of time together and learned from our mistakes :) Only David will know what that means. I remember flying around with Fred in his plane and my little guy Collin at four years old really thought a lot of David and how they were pilots. The days of the State Police Explorer Scouts and all the other fun times. I think David was the first to hang on tight when I first got my driver's license. David; I will miss you my friend and I will see you again some day! Matt

To all of the family, my deepest sympathy. May you feel God's presence today and always. As we get older, we tend to lose track of each other.. but all the memories from the past came pouring back this week. S&S Enterprise.. go ahead and laugh, it's ok. Parties at Diane's (shhh don't tell mom) and dancing to the oldies. So Michelle you now have my email.. keep in touch. Cora..F...F..M..Dwan Shipley... big hugs to you!!!

Cora & Family,
Our prayers are with you in your loss. I will always remeber David's smile. He could light up a room. Will always remeber him driving in his golf cart with his police uniform on.
Best wishes to your family.
