Passed away Tuesday afternoon, Oct. 31, 2006 at his home. Arnold was born March 28, 1905 in Franklin Park, IL the son of the late Enoch and Emma (Wenzel) Hoehn. He was the oldest living resident of Almena Township. Arnold’s hobbies were making and playing fiddles, riding motorcycles, fishing, steam engines and was a member of the Flywheelers of America. In his early years he raised rattle snakes, skunks, and was an avid beekeeper. Arnold was united in marriage to the former Ruth Ziolkowski who preceded him in death in 1957. He was also preceded in death by an infant daughter, a son, Arnold M. Hoehn, Jr and a brother, Raymond Hoehn. Surviving are a daughter-in-law, Barbara Hoehn-Painter, grandchildren, Anthony (Tammy) Hoehn, Brian (Kristien) Hoehn and Julia Hoehn all of Mattawan; 6 great grandchildren; brother, Maurice Hoehn of Kalamazoo. A memorial service will be held Saturday, (Nov. 11), 3 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, Paw Paw. Arrangements are by the Adams Funeral Home, Paw Paw.
