Went to be with his Lord after a brief illness Wednesday afternoon, Nov, 8, 2006 at his home. Michael was born in Munich, Germany on Sept. 17, 1942 the son of the late Anthony and Jennie (Kinea) Janowicz. Michael served in the U.S. Army with Company B, 2nd Bn, 38th Infantry, 3rd US Army. He was employed by the Steris Corp of Erie, PA as a Senior Technician retiring in Nov. of 2005. He dearly loved his Lord, church, family and extended family. On Sept. 13, 1969 in Paw Paw, Michael was united in marriage to Lottie Maron who survives. In November of 2005 they renewed their marriage vows at Hart to Heart Ministries. Also surviving are 2 daughters, Iris (Kevin) Maat of Columbia, TN and Sherise (Creg) Johnson of Kalamazoo; 4 grandchildren, Rachel, Ariel, Alexis, and Creg, Jr; brother, Ed (Terri) Janowicz of Harsens Island, MI; sister, Janet (Jack) Fallon of Clinton Township, MI; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Shyane Johnson. Family will receive friends Sunday 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at the Adams Funeral Home, Paw Paw where funeral services will be held Monday, 11 a.m. with Rev. Joan Hart officiating. Interment to follow in Maple Grove Cemetery, Mattawan with military honors. Memorial contributions may be made to Hart to Heart Ministries, 2401 E. Milham Rd, Portage, 49002.

Hey it's Hollie Olmstead(Stenberg), my mom called me and told me about the loss of your dad, she read in the paper. I just wanted to let you know that I was thinking about you and I often do and to give you and your family my condolences.
