Passed away Friday morning, November 10, 2006 at Lakeview Continuing Care Center, Lawton. Dorothy was born January 6 1920 in Chicago, IL the daughter of the late William and Elizabeth (Wilkins) Russ. Dorothy and he husband owned and operated the Reits Garage and Wrecker service in Paw Paw until her retirement in 1993. On October 12, 1946 in Bryan, OH, Dorothy was united in marriage to Robert G. Reits, Sr. who preceded her in death on January 16, 1992. She was also preceded in death by her first husband Charles Sanborn, brother, William Russ and 2 sisters, Ann Hoyna and Geraldine Clearwaters. Surviving are 6 children, Charlotte Lugar, Betty Jurgensen and Susan (Robert) Blower of Paw Paw, Barbara McCarthy of Goshen, IN, Patricia (Rick) Dingman of Mattawan and Robert (Diana) Reits, Jr. of Paw Paw; 12 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; sister, Mary (John) Czuhajewski of Paw Paw; many nieces and nephews. Their will be no visitation as cremation has taken place. A private family service will be at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to Lakeview Continuing Care Center Activity Fund. Arrangements are by the Adams Funeral Home, Paw Paw. |
