BOERNER, Dorothy H.

Passed away Saturday morning December 9, 2006 at Lakeview Continuing Care Center, Lawton. Dorothy was born July 30, 1914 in Reasnor, Iowa the daughter of Carl and Nellie (Wasson) Bisom. She was a medical secretary at Butter Worth Hospital in Grand Rapids until her retirement in 1979. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Paw Paw. She was preceded in death by her first husband Eddward Lapham on March 15, 1954. She was then united in marriage to Harold Boerner who preceded her in death on Aug. 28, 1989. Surviving are a son, Stuart Lapham of Mattawan; 3 grandsons Timothy Lapham of Plainwell, Thomas Lapham and Todd Lapham both of Sacramento, CA; 8 great grandchildren, Dustin, Krista, Nicole, Tyler, Jonathon, Joshua, Jacob and Colby; many niece and nieces to include Bill and Sandy Orr, Dave and Ruth McLeese all of Decatur, Helen Smith and Robert Arends of Bull Head City, AZ. great great nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends Monday 3-5 and 6-8 p.m. at the Adams Funeral Home, Paw Paw where a celebration of life service will be held Tuesday, 11 a.m. with Rev. Mark Whittaker of Trinity Lutheran Church, Paw Paw officiating. Cremation will follow. Memorial contributions may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church. |

I thank God for bringing Dorothy into my life. I've known her only a short time but we developed a true friendship and I'm so thankful for that. I will surely miss her. God Bless all of you.
