Went to be with the Lord Tuesday evening, Jan. 30, 2007 at Lakeview Continuing Care Center, Lawton. Annette was born May 29, 1923 in Oklahoma City, OK the daughter of the late Leslie and Lutie (Rhea) McCloud. On April 8, 1939 Annette was united in marriage to Robert Herman Browning who preceded her in death in 1995. She previously worked at Tinker Air Force Base, the American Heart Association, Kalamazoo and Western Michigan University. Her husband, Robert worked in Immigration Services and they relocated several times until settling in Paw Paw in the early 80’s. Annette was a devoted Christian and a member of Calvary Baptist Church, Paw Paw and was active in churches wherever they were living. She was also a very compassionate and giving person. Surviving are 3 children, Roberta (Larry) Allen of Paw Paw, Leslie (Pat) Browning of Carthage, NY and Thomas (Ann) Browning of Kalamazoo; 2 grandsons, Christopher (Kathy) Allen of Gobles and Jeffrey Allen of Atlanta, GA; 3 granddaughters, Mary (Tom) Ducker of Vacaville, CA, Jenny Rieger of Seaford, DE, and Laura Browning of Kalamazoo, and 7 great grandchildren. Family will receive friends Friday 11:30 to 1 p.m. at the Adams Funeral Home, Paw Paw where funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. with Pastor Brian Stanek officiating. Interment will follow in Mt Ever-Rest Cemetery, Kalamazoo. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Calvary Baptist Church, Paw Paw.
