On behalf of the Donora relatives in the US, we are praying for the life and afterlife of Anna Piotrowski. My father Ben Donora and my grandfather John Donora were instrumental in bringing Anna to join her husband Ludwig in the US post-WWII. We'll remember her as a dedicated wife and active member of the church.

Anna, Had touched my heart in many ways. She was a hard worker and had to overcome many obstacles coming from another country! She told me many stories on how she worked on farms, factories and even went back to school to work at the hospital; she loved working in her garden and taught me some gardening tips. I have never met anyone that could take yarn and knit such wonderful sweaters, coats, afghans or doll clothes. While appearing hard and strong on the outside she had a heart of gold that many people did not ever see and tried to help a lot of people during her time here on earth. She will be missed.
