Passed away Sunday morning, May 6, 2007 at his home. Allan was born January 3, 1937 in Fine New York the son of Ezeb and Lizzie (Fort) Paro. He was a truck drive for many years retiring in July of 1987. On November 10, 1979 in Kalamazoo, Allan was united in marriage to Marian Frances Clippinger-Leversee who survives. Also surviving are 5 sons, David (Lexie) Paro of Bloomingdale, Robert (Kim) Gordon of Philadelphia, NY, Jim (Kathy) Paro of Theresa, NY, Steve Leversee and Ernest Leversee both of Lawton; 5 daughters, Brenda (Brian) Kimmett and Jeanne (Karl) Eager both of Carthage, NY, Susan (Mark) Griffiths of Randolph, Ohio, Arlene Webster of Parchment, MI, Anita Leversee of Pullman, MI; 27 Grandchildren; 19 great Grandchildren; 6 brothers, Franklin Paro of McGraw, NY, Carl Paro of Watertown, NY, Keith Paro of Homer, NY, Darwin Paro and Perry Paro of Chaumont NY, Harley Paro of Adams, NY; many nieces and nephews; his first wife, Glenna G. Granger; second wife, Bonita M. Bullard-Haley; and a dear friend, Orin. Allan was preceded in death by a son, Lennie Paro; brother, Harold “Pete” Paro and a sister, Betty Satchwell. There will be no visitation. As per Allan’s request his body was donated to medical science. Memorial contributions may be made to West Michigan Cancer Center or Hospice of Southwest Michigan. Arrangements are by the Adams Funeral Home, Paw Paw.
